daisies in bloom

For all of you who cannot visit Emily's stone, I thought I would post a picture of the beautiful daisies in full bloom. They were given to us as seedlings by Emily's aunt Mary Beth and I planted them in early May. In true Emily fashion they bring beauty and joy to all that see them. Notice the maroon and orange pansies (VT colors) and other plants from VT that were planted by our family friend Lois Velella. For all who know Lois, gardening is her gift and talent and it certainly shows here. The plants are also the talk of the Pleasant Hill Staff who tell us Em's stone and plant arrangement are the most beautiful. When you look closely, you can see the bees hard at work taking the nectar for their hive. Yes the circle of life is going strong with Emily orchestrating.
Finally, special thank yous to all that continue to post with memories of Emily. They mean so much to us.
Love PaPa Specs
