Love you, Em.

I met Emily through her roommate Ashley whom I've known for years. It was a lot of fun seeing those two together. I got to know Em better through the year after I set her up on a date with my friend Zach. Ultimately, they didn't make it but it was a good thing in that I got to know Emily better. We went out on weekends, went to see Live at Burruss and since Em lived here in NJ, she would make the trip either to or from Blacksburg with me and Ash occasionally. Her personality was infectious, you couldn't help but smiling when you were around her. Her love of 'Heavyweights' istantly comes to mind and we both loved Harry Potter.

I'm going to miss Emily, it was an unbelievably sad morning when I found out but knowing that her being a donor made me feel better, as it should make everyone. This is because she was doing what she did best, helping other people.
