She's Everywhere!

Whenever I get the chance to spend a little time with nature, I really feel connected with Emily. Maybe its because we hiked around Switzerland together years ago, maybe its because I know she loved spending time outdoors or on adventures, or maybe its because when confronted with the beauty of nature, I feel the presence of something inconceivably immense...more powerful than I can even imagine.

This past weekend was no different. I took a drive with some friends into the middle of the Alps, and low and behold, at the base of the glacier, I began to feel the incredible connection with nature, and with Emily. At my feet, was a single, delicate, summer daisy, sprouting from the edge of the receding sheet of ice. The air was warm, but the melting ice formed a pristine glacial pool,
