Keep on smiling

I still am unable to grasp that Emily is no longer with me. I think of her every single day and sometimes thoughts of her are overwhelming. Whenever I get very sad and upset about this void due to her absence, I think of all the good times. I think of how Emily was ALWAYS smiley, always thankful, always pushed her goals to the extremes and accomplished so much. All of the positivity that she exuded, I remember, and I try to apply it to my life now, because that is exactly what she wanted, whether she was here or not. These pictures help me remember. They remind me to continue to be happy and celebrate, rather than give in to the sadness that she would never have wanted.
