Go confidently
Last night it happened. My Emily bracelet broke. I have worn that bracelet every day for almost two years now. It has been a piece of comfort that I can look at and reflect on. Any time I am having a stressful day I look down at my bracelet and am reminded of the most important thing in my life. Family and friends. I remember how precious life is and all of the wonderful things Emily has taught me. When I wear the bracelet I feel like she is with me. When the bracelet broke, I looked at the two pieces in disbelief and started to cry. I was with a friend at the time when it broke who brought light to the situation in the best way possible. It was not that I didn’t take care of the bracelet and misplace it. I had worn the bracelet everyday and everywhere. It was bound to get a few scratches. I bet the fact that I wore it to my rock climbing class last night didn’t help the cause. That’s another thing that Emily has motivated me to do. Become more adventurous. I’m now taking up one of her favorite hobbies, rock climbing. I thought about buying a new bracelet, but decided to get my broken one soldered together instead. I can’t wait until it’s fixed. My wrist feels naked without it!

sorry to hear about the bracelet. I keep worrying that will happen to mine as well. I recently stopped wearing it to lab during the day because I'm so scared it will catch on something. It's good to know it can be fixed - although if you are not happy with the results, papa specs found a place to purchase them online. I agree though, the original would have more meaning.
That's awesome about the rock climbing - Em would be so happy knowing people are going out there and enjoying the world and all its adventure. Keep living life to its fullest - i know she's right there along with you.
Love,
Kate
