Rainbow
Hey Em,
I saw a HUMONGOUS rainbow today on the way to work. I couldn't help staring at it even though I was supposed to be driving. I kept look at all the colors and wondering if the pot of gold was waiting there under it. I know alot of people at work drive the same direction as I do, so I asked around and only one other person had noticed it. It's really amazing how people fail to look at and appreciate things that are right in front of them! Anyway, it reminded me of you, especially since I saw about 5 rainbows in the weeks after your funeral, just when I needed them most! I know you were the one putting them up there for us, and the one you made today was the most beautiful of all! Here's a picture of a rainbow that looked like the one I saw today:
Thanks for brightening up my day!

I agree, after Em's funeral I saw many many beautiful rainbows, the most amazing of which was when I finally came back down here to NC and trying to restart my life. I was at an IM softball game and the whole entire game stopped because of a TRIPLE rainbow that took up the entire sky. It was gorgeous.
When we were in Ireland, Emily picked out a framed photograph that she loved - a little irish cottage with a rainbow going over it. I now have it hanging in my house and always think of Em when I see rainbows.
Thanks for the story, Danielle!
