Emily's Birthday

As many of you all know, Emily’s birthday is coming up in a little over a week (September 3^rd). She would have been 22. This is going to be a hard time for all of us, and I’ve been trying to anticipate that. I’m currently trying to find some type of community service event that is taking place on Labor Day weekend so I could participate in memory of Emily. At the very least, I will be active that day, living by Em’s motto to use each day we’re given to the fullest.

I have a request for all of you over the next week or two. Please share your happy/funny/silly stories of Em on this blog. Nothing cheers me up more when feeling sad about Emily’s passing than seeing funny and happy pictures of her beautiful smiling face, or reminiscing about the wonderful and often hilarious memories I have of her. If everyone could help out, I think we’d all get through this tough time a little bit easier. Please don’t be afraid to share a memory, whether how small – they are all very very special and significant! That’s what the blog is for – sharing Emily’s love and passions :-)
